WGMHA is the proud recipient of the 2019 UW President’s Community Impact Award

The Waterloo Girls Minor Hockey Association (the Ravens) has partnered with Warrior hockey programs for the past eight years.  Initially sparked by a connection when a Pee Wee team invited varsity athletes to assist with on-ice skill development, the positive experience led to a strong, long-term partnership involving 16 teams and a number of specialty programs for girls as young as four years old.

Given the shortness of the time allowed until the holiday break, the Ravens have determined that we will be unable to complete Atom AA, A, BB/B; PeeWee AA, A, BB/B and Midget BB, Bantam BB selection process until after the break.   In lieu of this delay, we are going to accept additional applications for these levels over the break until midnight December 31st, 2019.   Interview time slots by division will be scheduled on the Ravens calendar for early January for these positions in the meantime so please take note of the days if you plan to apply or have applied already.

Please read the following invitation to apply prior to sending in information.

All Head Coach Appointments for Rep, HL and DS are based on recommendations from the Coaching Selection Committee to the WGMHA Leagues Management Committee (LMC). The LMC then makes recommendations to the WGMHA Board for final approval and ratification. Novice Program Coaching Staff are selected as a group at first prior to team formation in October. Prior to tryouts for Tiered Novice, Head Coach selection may begin.
