Coaching Applications Open
We are now accepting applications for the following representative teams for 2023-24
Spring Tryouts:
U18 Tier 3, U15 Tier 3, U13A (HPTP) , U13 Tier 3
Fall Tryouts mandated by Hockey Canada and OWHA. Note that teams at U11 and U9 are open to all players - registrants at U11 or earlier are deemed “non-import/local players”.
U11 AA, U11 Tier 2, U11 Tier 3, U9 Tier 1
Interested candidates for any of these positions should submit their applications for teams by no later than 11:59 pm on Friday, January 20th, 2023. In the absence of applicants this deadline may be extended for some positions.

* Individual coaches manage significant parts of the extra-ice, extra-coaching/training, off-ice, extra-training, and other experiential aspects of their program beyond those provided by the WGMHA - varying by level.
* Additional Staff & experiences (non-parent only) - if committed as part of the application - please note that any listed staff may be contacted as part of the process.
* Requests for multi-year appointments may be considered in special circumstances and would require special board approval. If such a request is being made, please provide an explanation and related plans for this time period.
The successful candidates must have (or agree to obtain leading into the season) an NCCP Development Certification Appropriate to Level of application and preferably a minimum of 3 years progressive coaching experience at either the Tier 1 or 2 Level The specific requirements for each coaching level can be found in the Manual of Operations on the website - see Section MO-04-03 for current requirements.
For all applicants, a current Respect in Sport or Speak Out Program certification is also required. Successful candidates will be required to submit a current Vulnerable Sector Police Screening.
