After a long off-season it is exciting to start thinking
about a return to hockey, especially with the prospect of returning to a more typical
hockey season. Last year’s ‘lost season’
seems to have altered the hockey ecosystem, seeing in less player promotion at
the AA and PWHL levels. With this in
mind, and hoping to cater to this larger demographic, the Ravens have decided
to field 3 High Performance U18 teams.
(U18AA and two U18A teams)
OWHA announced last week that they will be permitting tryouts and allowing Permission to Skates (PTS Forms), the WGMHA has already been planning for the return to hockey and team selection and will be holding modified evaluations for this season for representative team selections.
This U18A team, affectionately know as the U17A team, will be tailored in large part to players with aspirations of playing AA in future seasons. If this sounds like it would be of interest to you, please contact me.
