Weekend Results
The Pee Wee AA Ravens battled hard this past weekend and came away with a win and a loss.

On Saturday, the team played host to the 2nd place St. Catherines Chaos. The Chaos, who have only loss 2 league games all year, came to Waterloo looking for revenge. The Ravens handed the Chaos one of their losses earlier in the year. The game started out with the Chaos pinning the Ravens deep in their end for the first few shifts. The Ravens Ravens battled back hard and the game momentum shifted as the Ravens took a 1-0 lead into the 2nd. The back and forth action saw St Catherines take the momentum back and eventually steal the game with an empty net goal near the end of the third period, as the Ravens had pulled their goalie in an attempt to tie the game at 2’s. On Sunday the Ravens played host to North York Storm. The Storm came into Waterloo looking for their first league win. But The Ravens, looking to avenge their previous day’s loss, proved way too strong for the over matched Storm. Waterloo came out flying. From the drop of the first puck, the Ravens controlled most of the play and had North York pinned in their own zone for most of the first period. If not for the strong goaltending of the Storm Goalie, Waterloo would have been up by many goals. As the mid mark of the game approached, the Ravens offence took charge and proved too much for the Storm. As the final buzzer sounded, Waterloo posted a 4-0 win. The win puts Waterloo in a tie for third in the West Division of the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League.
