Good Start to the Season
After what seemed like an extended preseason, it was nice to play our first game. We had good pressure on the puck for most of the game. We definitely saw some good passing and overall puck movement. Our defence played very solidly - Mary demonstrated very good puck control; Sarah did a strong job of keeping the puck in the offensive zone at the blue line. Caitlyn and Annette showed some good offensive synergy, which resulted in a goal and some good scoring chances. Madelyn put in a good effort in her hockey debut. Gabby added a really pretty goal.
A really nice start to the season with lots of positives to build upon and a strong team effort. We have 2 games to look forward to this upcoming weekend.
