Another Game, Another Win
A tight game on scoreboard, which was tied well into the 3rd period, ended up with us prevailing with the win in this physical game. When we aggressively put pressure on the puck, we were successful. Goals by Annette and Amanda were generated by turnovers forced by effective checking by Caitlyn and Leeda, respectively. When we were passive or disorganized, things did not go as well. Usually, through 2nd effort or some stops by Jessica, we were able to limit the damage from any mistakes we made. In addition to scoring, Amanda demonstrated the ability to win faceoffs. Our defence contributed to our offence with goals from Mary and Jenna. Back home to face Waterloo #1 in our next game.
