Novice DS Final Roster
Thank you for attending the 2014 Waterloo Ravens Novice DS tryouts. It was great to see the enthusiasm and effort from the girls at both tryouts. Unfortunately, players need to be released to get our roster down to playing size.
Making cuts is always very challenging because the players can be very close in ability and sometimes it simply boils down to who has a better day during the tryout sessions. It was very difficult to decide on the final roster for this team and I want to thank all my evaluators for their time.
It was clear that everyone on the ice during the tryouts is a key member of their regular team. Although not every player was selected for the team, each individual should be proud of their effort.
The members of the 2014-2015 Novice DS team wore the following jerseys at the tryouts:
Yellow: Y1, Y5, Y6, Y7, Y8, Y10, Y13, Y17
Black: B2, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B11, B24, B30
The first practice is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17th at 6pm, Columbia Icefields. Keep an eye on the Novice DS website as I hope to get together with the team prior to that date. More information will be forthcoming to the members of the team.
