1st Exhibition Game was AWESOME!!!!
Great EFFORT tonight for our 1st Exhibition Game this year vs Twin Centre.
Even thought we lost 2-1, we did so many good things with just 2 practices.
Here are some great things....
Shots: 17-4 for us.
Passes: 22
Back-Checking: 10
Battles: 12
To elaborate on the above, the 22 passes where passes to move the puck ahead - either from the Defense moving it our of our Zone or Forwards breaking out. Great positioning.
The 10 Back-Checks help stop Twin Centre from scoring. We avoided a break-away with strong skating from the Forwards and Defense to get back and gain control of the puck.
Winning the Battles in our end and their end to gain control of the puck. Great effort.
I am looking forward to our practice on Saturday and Game on Sunday vs Cambridge.
