My name is Coach Rick and I have been a coach in the Ravens organization for over 5 years, coaching at multiple levels with multiple teams per year including specialized goalie coaching.
One of my biggest beliefs as a coach is that we as coaches, must develop hockey skills and interpersonal skills within our young athletes, while fostering a positive environment on and off the ice.
Hockey should never be a negative experience for any of our players. The CORE of hockey, is the LOVE of hockey!
Welcome to the 2017 - 18 Team try-outs:
Coaching Team
Head Coach: Rick Tokarz [email protected] 519-546-1853
The rest of the Coaching Team will be chosen following player selection
Commitment and Expectations
Participation in Rep hockey requires commitment, dedication and sacrifice on the part of coaches, players and families. There may be in excess of 90 ice times including games, tournaments and practices. From October – March, we will have 15 skills development sessions with the uW Warrior Men and Women’s Hockey Teams [for Atom and Peewee teams only]
please let the coaching team know as soon as possible if you are not prepared as a player to make the commitment or as a parent have your daughter play at the Atom B level If you are only at try-outs to get skating time please let us know. Any player not intending to play for the team will be asked not to return after the first tryout.
Try-Outs
During the tryout sessions, players will be evaluated on work ethic, hockey knowledge and individual skills. We are looking for strong work commitment, team players, leadership, positive attitude, creativity and individuals with a well-disciplined approach to the game.
