Commitment and Expectations

Participation in Rep hockey requires commitment, dedication and sacrifice on the part of coaches, players and families. There may be in excess of 100 ice times including games, tournaments and practices. From October – March, we will have 15 skills development sessions with the uW Warrior Men and Women’s Hockey Teams [for Atom and Peewee teams only]

please let me know as soon as possible if you are not prepared as a player to make the commitment or as a parent have your daughter play at the Atom tier 2 level If you are only at try-outs to get skating time please let us know. Any player not intending to play for the team will be asked not to return after the first tryout.

Team Fees

Successful players are responsible for paying the following: Ravens General Registration Fees, Rep Fees and Team Fees. The Registration ($565) and Rep ($600) Fees are set by the WGMHA. We expect the Team Fees on top of registration fees to be approximately $800 per player. The full team budget will be reviewed at the Parent/Player meeting the week after try-outs.

Parent/Player Meeting

Our first 2018-19 Parent/Player meeting will be held on September 16, 2018. Time currently TBD @ Albert McCormick. We have a practice at 8:30am and I am trying to have our parent meeting right after. Please watch the schedule for time confirmation.

It is imperative that at least one parent attend the meeting with your daughter (as she will need to sign the official roster). We will be approving the team budget, reviewing the plans for the 2018-19 season and filling important volunteer roles for our team.

If you have any question, please feel free to speak with me, Steve Woods, Director Rep Hockey [email protected] ) or Dwayne Orth Director Player and Coaching Development ([email protected] ) or Sandra Hanmer, President WGMHA ([email protected]), before or after the try-out sessions.

Best of luck to everyone in the try-out process! Thank you for participating.
