GOLD IN THE HAMMER!
GOLDEN GIRLS...GOLDEN GIRLS...GOLDEN GIRLS
On behalf of the coaching staff, parents and most of all our superstar Ravens, I am pleased to announce that our ATOM B team has earned a gold medal, achieved this weekend at the Hamilton Hawks Tournament.
The team went 4-0-1, with four shutouts including the Gold Medal Game over a scrappy Haldimand Rivercats team.
Our girls played with focus, determination and with a high work ethic after achieving two prior silver medals in previous tournaments.
Gold was the only goal for these fine athletes as they finished their final "open tournament" of the year!
"The road to gold is paved with effort" was our team motivation in this tourney, how beautiful the road does surely look!
Well done ladies, a TEAM win, very well deserved!
