The Waterloo Ravens went 5-0 on route to the gold medal in the Durham West Bolts & Hearts Tournament (Feb 17-19).
The gold medal game versus Kingston was a hard-fought, close game. The Ravens went up early 1-0 in the first before Kingston finally tied it midway through the 3rd period. After getting a penalty late, the Ravens were short-handed for the final two minutes but still managed a final push and got a late SH goal to win the tournament.
We're proud of all the players as they never quit, stayed positive and played their game right through to the final buzzer of each game. It was a true team effort with every player on the team, including our goalie, getting at least one point!
