KW Rangers Coach - WGMHA Appointment
Submitted By Steven Woods on Sunday, October 27, 2019
The Waterloo Girls Minor Hockey Association (WGMHA) is pleased to announce the re-appointment of Chad Campbell as the Head Coach for our Provincial Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Intermediate AA team, the KW Rangers, through to the conclusion of the 2022-23 season.  On behalf of the entire association we are pleased to have Chad continuing to lead our team.

Chad is currently in his sixth season as Coach of the Ravens’ KW Rangers - and he is looking forward to working with the team and our association again for the next three seasons. Following a breakout season for the KW Rangers in 2018-19 in which the team was nationally ranked in the top 10 all season, Chad was voted Coach of the Year by the other coaches in the PWHL.

Chad is a Hockey Canada HP1 coach with over 25 years of hockey coaching and playing experience. During his career, he has coached at various levels and ages in both female and male minor hockey systems. Prior to coaching, he played competitively at the OHA Jr. “C”, Jr. “B” and Senior “A” levels.

Chad is looking forward to advancing the WGMHA’s High Performance Training Program (HPTP) for AA/A girls minor hockey, and to continue the development of a highly competitive PWHL team for our area. Center to his plans is continued player development, not only with our KW Ranger team, but also by working closely with our local Waterloo Ravens Midget AA team and affiliated USport teams to generate development opportunities at the highest competitive levels that will position all our players for the next stage in their hockey careers. Chad and the KW Rangers are very proud to have played a part in graduating more than 100 past players to collegiate programs in the NCAA and USport.
