Good Deeds Cup - Game Two A Success
Submitted By WGMHA on Monday, December 30, 2019
On Saturday December 28th, our PWA Waterloo Ravens hosted an amazing event with the Brampton Special Needs Hockey Team, as part of our Good Deeds Cup initiative.

The event involved a 30 minute practice, a 50 minute game and a huge celebration in the Beaupre Room at Albert McCormick Arena, after the game.

Both teams celebrated this “life event” by sharing stories, signing an event banner, skate towel give aways and some food and drink!

Coach Rick wants to give a huge shout out to the PWA social committee comprised of Lynda Hogan, Laura Taylor and Stacey Young who planned all the food and drink and made sure that the host room (Beaupre) was ready to go!

A heart felt thank you goes out to the players on the Brampton 45’s Special Needs team along with their coaches (Charlie, Zach and Jordan) for granting us the privilege of being a small part of their lives!

On behalf of the Waterloo Ravens Executive, our Waterloo Ravens families in attendance Saturday and especially our Waterloo Ravens PWA athletes, parents and coaches, THANK YOU Brampton 45’s Special Needs Hockey Team!

Wishing everyone the very best for an amazing 2020!
