Waterloo Region Public Health Unit Moves To Grey - Lockdown
Submitted By WGMHA on Monday, December 21, 2020
Dear Ravens Families,

As you are aware, Waterloo Region is moving into COVID-19 Lockdown effective 12:01 am Saturday December 26, 2020.

This means all Ravens activities (on ice and off ice) are postponed effective Saturday December 26, 2020, until further notice. There are no sanctioned activities that players, playing groups or coaching staff can participate in within Waterloo Region or in other communities in the province as long as we are in Grey-Lockdown.

As soon as we get the go ahead to return to play, our ice schedulers are ready to get playing groups back on the ice.

Collection of fees for Session 2 has been suspended for the time being. We expect that with the Grey-Lockdown period and our planned mid-January Session 1 reconciliation, there will be an adjustment to the fees we shared with you last week. We will communicate the revised Session 2 fees and the payment dates as soon as we are able. For those who have registered already, thank you, and your payments will be adjusted accordingly (if need be) to the revised Session 2 fees.

If your daughter is not planning on returning for Session 2, please let Chris Holdsworth [email protected] know as soon as possible. This will help with our planning for Session 2.

While we are disappointed with today’s news, we know that this is the right thing to do at this time to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Our actions now will help us be able to get back to the game we love sooner rather than later.

Please continue to wear your masks, wash your hands, keep 2 meters apart and stay home with your families. Together we can all do our part to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Best wishes for a happy, healthy holiday season!

Be Kind, Be Safe, Stay Healthy,

Sandra
