U18AA - Dave Morrow
My name is David Morrow, and I am excited to be the 2022 – 2023 Waterloo Ravens HPTP U18AA Head Coach. Although this season is not over, plans for next year are underway and the coaching staff and I are excited about building a highly competitive team.
I have 30+ years of coaching experience and I am HP1 Certified. I have been involved with the Waterloo Girls Minor Hockey Association as a parent, member of the Board, assistant coach, and head coach at both the AA and A levels. I am passionate about the sport of hockey, and I am committed to helping players develop to their fullest potential on and off the ice.
As a coach I set high standards for myself and I expect the same of my bench staff. Joining me on the coaching staff for the 2022-2023 season will be:
-
Assistant Coach Autumn Grant – Autumn is a Ravens “AA” alumni and was an assistant coach with the 2019-2020 Waterloo Ravens U15AA team.
-
Assistant Coach (Video & Special Teams) Keira Morrow – Keira is a Ravens “AA” alumni and was an assistant coach with the 2019-2020 Waterloo Ravens U15AA team. She is presently on a NCAA DI Softball scholarship.
I want to take this opportunity to direct all players interested in trying out for the team to the December 13, 2021, HPTP-High Performance Training Program for AA/A article posted on this website. What Can You Do Before Try-Outs Begin?
If you are thinking about trying out for this team, reach out and contact me by telephone/text (226-218-0014) or email ([email protected]) so that I and the coaching staff know some things about who you are and so that you have an opportunity to ask questions of us about the team and our season plan. U15 A - Ryan Cartier
Hello, I have been involved in hockey almost my entire life. Growing up in Waterloo I played minor hockey at the AAA level. After my minor hockey was finished I played 2 years of junior for the Wellesley Apple jacks, where we won the all Ontario title. Following those years I played Junior B for the Elmira Sugar Kings and the Kitchener Dutchmen, Captaining the Dutchmen in my final year.
I have been coaching with the Ravens for the last 4 years. In those years I have held varies positions, from head coach to on ice staff. I have a great passion for hockey and coaching. I’d like to instill an attitude of never giving up and competing to the end, to teach the girls how to operate as a team on and off the ice
