In support of the Oakville Hornets and the family and friends of Melody XU, I am posting this message.
Melody is a U9 athlete that left us way too soon after a tragic accident that occurred on November 6, 2025 in Oakville.
As a show of support, hockey families from multiple centers are placing hockey sticks outside their doors as we all mourn the passing of Melody.
Through all the stresses of hockey being tryouts, playoffs, tournaments, this certainly brings into perspective of what is truly important at the end of the day, our children and their positive hockey experience.
For the kids, for the game, for the fun of it!
