To OWHA Presidents, Registrars and Communication Administrators,
We are writing to advise you that OWHA has just received notice that Hockey Canada released a paper on Girls’ and Women’s Hockey. We are reviewing the document and will be putting together a position paper. If you have any questions or comments, please direct them to me.
At this time, we stress the strengths and positives of the OWHA, our Local Associations and our programs throughout the Province of Ontario; it is this strength that has enabled the opportunities of girls and women that exist in the game today. We will move forward with the implementation of the updated OWHA Strategic Plan and will work together to build even greater opportunities moving forward.
