Waterloo Girls Hockey Association (WGHA) will be conducting Fall tryouts for the following teams (coaches listed beside team):

Fall Tryout Fees and Information:
U9 Rep
The tryout fee for U9 Rep is $70. There will be a minimum of four (4) pre-skate sessions prior to any U9 Rep tryouts. To be eligible for the pre-skate sessions, players must be registered for WGHA 24-25 U9 Rep fall tryouts and have Waterloo GHA as their current OWHA home association.
Non-WGHA players are not eligible to attend pre-skates; they must attend them with their current association. Non-WGHA players that want to attend WGHA U9 fall tryouts must still register via RAMP and pay the $70 fee.
Pre-skate sessions are not for evaluations; evaluations and team selection will only take place during U9 Rep tryouts.
U11 Tier 3
The tryout fee for U11 Tier 3 is $70. There will be a minimum of four (4) pre-skate sessions prior to any U11 Tier 3 tryouts. To be eligible for the pre-skate sessions, players must be registered for WGHA 24-25 U11 Tier 3 fall tryouts and have Waterloo GHA as their current OWHA home association.

The tryout fee for U15 B is $45. WGHA players that previously registered for 2024-2025 U15 Spring tryouts DO NOT need to re-register. All other players (WGHA and Non-WGHA) must register via RAMP and pay the fee.
U18 B
The tryout fee for U18 B is $45. WGHA players that previously registered for 2024-2025 U18 Spring tryouts DO NOT need to re-register. All other players (WGHA and Non-WGHA) must register via RAMP and pay the fee.
Fall Tryout Information - Please Read:
All players/goalies who played for an OWHA team other than the Waterloo Ravens in the past season and have not been released to the Waterloo Girls Hockey Association must register for tryouts online and pay according to the instructions on our registration system. Valid Permission to Tryout Forms must be emailed to [email protected] before being allowed on the ice.
For WGHA players requesting a Permission To Tryout (PTT) Form: When the OWHA makes their PTT form available, families will be able to complete the online form here. Completed online forms will be automatically sent to a WGHA representative for review; please allow up to 48 hours for the completion of a Permission To Tryout form request.
It is recommended that players attend all tryout time times for the teams they are trying out for, however if that is not possible, please inform the relevant coach and copy Scott Storey, Director, Rep Hockey ([email protected]) and Rick Tokarz, Director Coach and Player Development ([email protected]). Team Selection will be in accordance with WGHA policies.
