U11 BB #1170, 2022-2023, Rep (Waterloo Ravens Girls Hockey Association )

Welcome U11 BB Families! (please read the previous news article before this one) For rostered players, we will have a parents meeting (virtually) on Wednesday evening this week (time TBA). Note that the team fee and rep fee will be presented at this meeting; one may expect it to be slightly lower than the fees for the U11 AA. Moreover, there will also be a number of volunteer opportunities for parents this season :) We are immediately seeking volunteers for these positions: Trainer (female), Manager and Treasurer. Hello Parents The coaching staff has compiled the final roster for this season (please still view the Menu item "Tryout Player List"). We would like to commend all players for their effort in the final scrimmage; decisions tonight were very difficult ones. If your daughter did not make the team, feel free to meet us after one of the practices this week to discuss next steps so she is very prepared for her next hockey tryout. Hello! The pace of the scrimmage at tryouts on Wednesday was fantastic. We apprciate the effort exerted by all of our Ravens. Please look at the tryout player list (see menu) according to jersey colour and number assigned at the beginning of tryout process to see who will join us for the final tryout on Friday. If you forget the colour and number assigned to your player, please ask the association for this information. Please read the previous post about information pertaining to Friday. Coach Pat

Hello! (Please read the previous post first) The final releases will be posted after an additional intersquad game on Fri. Sept. 23. Reminder that the final tryout is at 6 pm (arrival time 5:30 pm) at Moses Springer. This replaces the previously scheduled practice since we lost one of our tryout time slots last weekend. Hello parents of girls trying out for the U11 Tier 2 (BB) team! My name is Pat Kennedy and I have just very recently been named the Head Coach. We will have an intersquad game on Wed. Sept. 21 at 4:30 pm. Please be at the arena (RIM Optimist) to check-in no later than 4 pm. I realize that this is not a very ideal time slot, but please do your best to arrive promptly. There will be releases posted on the evening of Wed. Sept. 21 post-game.
