Scarborough Sharks New Year's Classic - U15A Champs
The U15A team received a last minute spot in the Scarborough Sharks New Year's Classic Tournament and made the most of their opportunity by bringing home GOLD. After going undefeated through the round robin with 3 close games, the Ravens defeated Clarington in the quarters in a nailbiter 2-1. The team then overwhelmed Brampton in the semis and faced Durham West in the final. After getting behind 1-0 early, the Ravens fought back to take a 1 goal lead into the third. Durham West fought hard along the boards all game but couldn't come up with the equalizer as the Ravens potted one in the empty net to win 3-1. Great effort all weekend girls!!
