This season has been an incredible journey, and one of the highlights has been hearing 16 pre-game speeches—one from each of our girls. I couldn’t be prouder of them for stepping up in front of their teammates to share advice, encouragement, and energy. For some, this was completely outside their comfort zone, and I hope it helped build their confidence even further. ...
To wrap up our captain series, we wanted to recognize the women who work tirelessly behind the scenes in our dressing room during practices and games. I can only imagine the patience it takes to listen to the nonstop chatter of 11- to 13-year-olds, but they handle it all with ease! Our five hockey moms delivered the final pre-game speech, and from what I’ve heard, the girls agreed—it was excellent!
A hockey season doesn’t run smoothly without the dedication of both parents and players, so a huge thank you to these five all-stars for your time, energy, and commitment to the team this season.
