Congratulation Fireballs on a fantastic tournament!  We had outstanding performances from the entire team.  Special kudos to our hard hat winners Stevie, Grace, Sophie, Leigh, and Kaitlin!  Grace had a super tournament performance and was the Tournament MVP!  The tournament win was a real team effort!  Special thanks to Sieg and Jenn! Now if we can only figure out what caused my hair to go Fireball orange! Coach Murph

The Atom 1 Fireballs got together on Monday night to give back to the community.  The Fireballs team delivered Christmas Hampers for the House of Friendship.  Over 30 families received a large hamper of food to make the Christmas season a little more joyous.  Afterwards, the team got together a Swiss Chalet to warm up and fill up. The only thing tougher than the drive to Milverton was covering Milverton's top player on the ice.  The Fireballs fought hard and made a battle of it, but the game ended in a 4-1 loss.  Beth had a great game and took home the hard hat as a result! Next steps - Cripps Tournament fun!

It was a barnburner of a weekend with parents and siblings sitting on the edge of their seats!  With Friday night's game ending in a hard fought, come from behind, tie game against Woolwich, the Fireballs headed into Saturday's game on a roll.  They came out of the Columbia Ice Fields with a win over Stratford and Kiera taking home the Hard Hat for hardest worker.  The Fireballs rode the wave into Sunday morning against the number one team - Waterloo 3.  The Fireballs brought their "A" game and again came back from behind to tie the game, and our goalie Leigh taking home the Hard Hat! The team showed a lot of heart to battle back and tie the game up late in the 3rd.  Great job!  Congratulations to Reagan on taking home the hard hat for the hardest worker out there.
