An epic battle at Albert McCormick arena had a sold out crowd entertained for 60 solid minutes as Team Raven fell to Kitchener White 2 - 0.
Albert McCormick arena was filled to the rafters as spectators were being turned away at the gate. The girl's aggressive forechecking kept the play in Kitchener's zone throughout the game. We saw some great battles for the loose puck that sent the ravens on eight separate breakaway scoring chance. The Kitchener goalie had to make some very spectacular stops to keep the puck out of the net. Rumour has it that the goalie is related to the great Russian netminder Vladislav Tretiak.
