Michael Phelps was made for swimming. Shaq was made for basketball. Our captain this week, Reese L., was made for speed on the ice!
It’s always fascinating to watch a player with pure, seemingly effortless speed. As Reese continues to develop her stickhandling and shot, she’s going to become the ultimate “now you see her, now you don’t” player—blowing past defenders and making goalies beg for mercy!
Reese is also the kind of kid who never stops smiling. Fittingly, her pre-game speech emphasized having fun and working hard—and the girls did just that! It’s been a fantastic few weeks of hockey since the Christmas break. Now, let’s hit these playoffs with everything we’ve got!
