U11 2 #1111, House (Waterloo Ravens Girls Hockey Association )

While the Canadian men’s team was battling in Italy, U11 Ravens were fighting for their own gold medals in Oakville’s Survive the Hive tournament. After achieving modest victories in our round-robin bracket, we found ourselves ranked third out of 24. The two top teams were juggernauts, sporting 23/2 and 16/1 GF/GA after playing three games. Sunday was our day however - we upset both teams within regulation time: 2-1 in the semis and 1-0 in the championship.
