The team continues to roll along by winning the weekend home and home series in Lower Lakes Female Hockey League matches against the Mississauga Chiefs. In Saturday’s game, the team travelled to Mississauga, and were rewarded with an impressive 4-0 win. The team battled hard against the very physical Chiefs team. Waterloo controlled most of the play and were rewarded with the victory. Sunday’s home match up featured a tighter contest, but the Ravens were able to close the deal in the third with the game’s lone goal. Strong goaltending and the Ravens attack just proved to be too much for the Chiefs to handle in the weekend series. The weekend victories move the team into sole possession of 4th place in the 11 team West Division with a solid 4-1 record.
