SWEETHEART GOLD MEDAL
EXCITING WEEKEND!!!!
I am SO PROUD of this hockey team.
We ended up in a 3-way tie for 2nd place, and because we had less goals scored on us, we moved ahead to the Semi-Final Game to play the 1st place team in Div A. This was the 2nd Most Exciting Game ever.
The girls worked so hard. Scoreless in 3 periods of hockey, but with 4.3 seconds remaining in OT, we score to move on to the Gold Medal Game. Stoney Creek won Div B Semi-Final in shoot out to play us in the Gold Medal Game. We played Stoney Creek in our 1st game and lost 2-0, but the girls where PUMPED to WIN... We scored 1st but they rebounded and scored right after. End to end battles, and with 4min remaining in the game, we scored to take the lead 2-1 and win the Gold!!! Well Played Girls!!!
