Waterloo Ravens Rookie Ravens Plus Program 2019-2020
Welcome to the 2019-2020 Rookie Ravens Plus Program
Open to ages 4-7 who are Beginner to Average and above Skaters. You can get around the ice without a skating aid or someone assisting you. If you have already taken the Ravens Learn to Skate program, this is the next step.
This program includes 15 non-consecutive weeks of training led by University of Waterloo Men's & Ladies' Hockey Team members along with a collection of interested, enthusiastic volunteers to provide a welcoming instructional environment for girls wanting to learn to play hockey. 15 x 1 hour sessions on Sundays and 15 x 1 hour sessions on Thursdays.

Dates & Times - Sundays at 4p-5p @ Rim Park Pillers Arena & Thursday 5p-6p at Albert McCormick - Pfaff.

*Please note Sunday December 8th will be Photo Day. Professional photos will be taken at the rear of Rim Pillers.
Parents may purchase photo packages at their discretion. Display of packages will be available on day of photos. Bring cash or cheque for your selection.

Please note hockey equipment is NOT included with the Rookie Ravens program.
You will require the following equipment to participate in Rookie Ravens.
Hockey Shoulder Pads/Chest Protector
Hockey Neck Guard
There are basic sets available at local sports stores and retailers or you may purchase individual new or used gear to suit your child's size and needs.
Rookie Ravens hockey jerseys are loaned out to players each week and returned at the end of each week's session.

This program requires enthusiastic volunteers to operate at optimal benefit to all players. Experienced skaters, moms/dads/grandparents/cousins etc. are encouraged to help out. You must be on skates to participate and are required to wear a helmet.
