Game Report - Saturday December 14th
Rebel Ravens stretch undefeated streak to three games!
The team turned in another solid performance, facing a Grand River team that is near the top of the standings table. Goals by Ashlyn and Mckenna put the Rebel Ravens out in front on two occasions, but the team was unable to stave off the surging Mustangs in the end, as they scored a scrambly goal to tie it up in the dying minutes. Assists on the Rebel goals went to Mackenzie, Victoria, Hannah and Ashlyn. Stephanie was outstanding, particularly towards the end of the game, when she made several key stops to preserve the tie. Taylor and Sofie impressed the coaching staff with improved efforts in reading the play and battling for the puck, and Emma's shot from the point is getting stronger every game - goals for these girls cannot be far behind!
The Rebel Ravens have a practice next Sunday at 3:00 pm at AMCE, and then begin the Jason Cripps Tournament at 6:30pm on the 27th. The coaching staff believes this team will surprise some in the second half of the season - look out for the REBEL RAVENS!!!
